Each shear is examined for blade type, hardware type, and imperfections. If blade type requires, it is taken apart. Sharpening consists of both hand tools and a flathone machine with specialty attachments. Any broken or missing hardware is replaced before/during reassembly. Then it is cleaned, buffed, re-examined, tested, and ready to use again!
We record all the details in your client notes, so we can look back and fine-tune each time we see you.
**Sidenote: a correction is when your blades have been improperly sharpened prior to using Acute.Angles.Sharpening services. Your first correction will be discounted to the standard rate of $35 so we can showcase our talent. Any future corrections will be priced at $40.
